September 1, 2011 - Colonial Lanes is remodeling and expanding to better serve their community. They will be installing a 20-player RIFT Blaster laser tag system.
Owner Stan Sheft hired industry consultant Jerry Merola from Amusement Entertainment Management to consult and advise on this multi-million dollar renovation. It closed in June, 2011 for the renovation and is reopening in October, 2011.
When it reopens for business in October, the Colonial Entertainment Center will feature a “first-class restaurant and sports bar, a multi-dimensional laser tag arena, and 24 luxury bowling lanes featuring a custom four-lane private suite. JumboTron-styled projection screens – the largest of their kind in the state – will be augmented by other unique features, including a ‘mini-bowling’ experience, amusement and redemption arcade, regulation billiards, and a state-of-the-art sound and motion lighting system,” owner Stan Sheft said in a press release.
The laser tag arena is being developed by Studio 41b and it will have a unique theme and concept fitting a project of this stature.
